How-To Video

Who? - This video is designed for employees of a family-owned iris farm called Breezeway Iris.

What? - This video shows the learner how to use the shipment Excel spreadsheet and Microsoft Word (mail merge) to create the labels for the iris for the shipments that are being prepared for that week.

Why? - The company used to handwrite the iris names on each plant, but this was time consuming. I helped the company move to a water-proof labeling system that will withstand the bleach solution that the iris must be washed in before they can be shipped. This saves time and allows the orders to process faster.

How? -  This course was created in Camtasia (screen-recording) and I also used Powtoon for the animation at the beginning and end of the video. Custom graphics were created in Canva and PowerPoint

Property Management Video

Who? - This video is designed for property managers who work in residential rental buildings.

What? - This video teaches the learner about the cost of resident turnover and ways in which a property manager can ensure a positive experience for the residents.

Why? - As noted in the video, the average cost of turnover in the United States for a rental apartment is $2,500. When residents renew their lease, the landlord saves money on cosmetic repairs, advertising, etc. Therefore, it is more cost effective to retain residents and have them renew leases whenever possible.

How? -  This course was created in Vyond. I used WellSaidLabs to record the voiceover audio. I also added one external graphics from  Freepik.com, which is cited on the final screen of the video. All other graphics were from the native Vyond program.
